Rocky Mountain News, Colarado's oldest newspaper has published its last edition on Friday. The newspaper lost $16 million last year and the company was unable to find a buyer.
This report came on Thursday!
``People are in grief, and they're very, very upset trying to process all the emotions that go with it and trying to recognize that we will be putting out our final edition tomorrow,'' said News publisher John Temple. He declared that the last edition is going to be spectacular!
``It's very rare that you get to play the music at your own funeral, so you want to make sure you do it well,'' Temple said.
It's not just a newspaper closing, its hundreds of people's life coming under a question mark. Where will they go? What will they do? In these hard times will they get a new job?
It's hightime for us to thank God for giving us a good job and good life, and pray for those who are jobless . Thank You Lord!
